Mirys is a teenage girl with a height and weight that are somewhere just under the average for her age. She has pointed ears, light-blue hair and bright green eyes, and her typical outfit is a black/grey ensemble with some red, purple and other bits of color, and a matching twin-pointed hat. There is a pink emblem of sorts on the collar of the outfit.

Brief:
A Meta-human with the ability to manipulate light, Mirys is the daughter of an NSO researcher who—along with his wife—went missing about a year ago. She has effectively been under the care of the NSO itself ever since, although at her insistence and despite her being a minor, the organization has taken a largely hands-off approach and only periodically checks on her to make sure she's still doing alright, and steps in only when it's thought necessary to do so. She tends to be a bit distrustful of most others and can have a bit of an attitude, but finds it easier to tolerate people when they share interests with her, or if her interactions with them are online rather than in-person.

General Plans:
Lavvy and I are already kicking around a few stupid ideas when it comes to Add and Mirys putting up with each other, but beyond that I don't have any real plans to start off with; outside of possibly following up on TDM threads, I'm gonna wing it and see where things end up, and then go from there.

Brief: Add is a mysterious edgelord with a ~tragic past~ but mostly he's just an asshole who really likes messing around with machines and finding creative new ways to electrocute people with his powers. Dead parents, ex-human experiment, isolated from human contact for several years following his escape, etc., etc. He hasn't really had any "normal" experience with social interactions or the world at large until about 3 years ago so that pretty much sums up what to expect from him. I swear he's actually a decent person somewhere in there it just takes awhile to dig it out.

He's currently living in the Last Ward and may be known by folks who deal a lot with black market cybernetics/electronics/weapons, he's impressively talented for his age but known to be a bit eccentric and obnoxious to deal with. He may also be known by any robots as a weirdo with no filter or sense of personal space. I apologize in advance to all the robots/AIs in this game. (important note: if you don't want Add trying to manhandle/stalk your robot please let me know and I'll tone it down, you can leave a comment on my permissions or just let me know here but yeah he is just... completely shameless, i really am sorry)

General Plans: I plan to have him join the NSO eventually, but for now he is just peripherally aware of them and will probably stick his nose in their business whenever it seems interesting to him. He's a talented troublemaker so getting him involved in things shouldn't be an issue. He also dabbles a bit in vigilantism but this is mostly just an excuse to pick fights with people whoops.

Also! There's a fairly minor NPC in his background that could pretty much be replaced with anyone, so if someone wants to say they briefly met Add as a feral street child for a few days around 8 IC years back then hit me up! There are no real requirements to this besides "would be willing to help a weird cyborg kid who may or may not have just escaped an illegal testing facility" and he would've effectively vanished not long after, but yeah. It's been long enough that he might not get recognized right away anyway but it would be awkward for Add to deal with so of course I'm down for it hell yeah hell yeah

Appearance: Mid-forties, generally scarred and seamed by a tough life; he has shoulder-length hair streaked with gray, a full beard, and round glasses with thick lenses. He dresses in a wildly eccentric manner, usually including a purple velvet coat with many pockets, a series of necklaces and bracelets made of wire and cable, fingerless gloves and concert T-shirts for old and obscure bands. He's well over six feet, skinny but wiry, and occasionally throws sparks from the tips of his hair when nervous or trying to signal to others that he's a metahuman.

Brief: Eccentric, charismatic, compassionate, community-minded and a convicted murderer on the run with a fake I.D., Andrei can be charitably described as "a mess." He makes ends meet bartending at a dive in the Underground, volunteers with the Neo Sapien Organization's community outreach programs, is highly fluent in English but has a Russian accent that gets stronger the more stress he's under, and doesn't talk to anyone about his past, although he's got a pattern of flinches that a patient and observant person could put together pretty quickly.

General Plans: I mostly want to throw him at troublesome situations and make his life harder! He's an incurable meddler, so he does get involved easily, especially with people who he's concerned about or who seem to be in a difficult situation.

I'd be interested in CR with other 30+ adults, especially more stable/socially capable ones who can serve as a positive influence on him. Younger characters (teens, early 20s) he is likely to feel protective of, and he'd definitely help them out! Considering he's a mess, even a savvy teen could probably also be a stabilizing influence in his life.

Long-term, I'd be interested in his murderous past being found out -- if anyone thinks their character might be interested in holding it over his head as blackmail, that could be especially interesting.

Brief:
Playing VR video games as a teen coincided with her metahuman talent manifesting; combined with a bad case of The Genders the turning point was when she went into a VR rig as an AMAB boy, and shapeshifted while playing - coming out of that closet looking like her main in a VR multiplayer online battle arena, the vulpine vampire Yeowoo.
While her parents were supportive, the Zaibatsu run colleges and medical system were not, and the quadruple whammy of being a depressed transgender metahuman boobhaver up against the Zaibatu's casual discrimination nearly killed her; a friend hauling her before the Organization to voluntell her to join up saved her life.
Now she's a dedicated member of the Org and an implacable enemy of the Zaibatsu - an advocate and videogame streamer by day, working at the Tote-Em-Snax Convenience Store near the Last Ward at night, and moonlighting as the superstrong biokinetic superheroine Yeowoo.

General Plans:
If someone other than (handwaved reference to other characters in I/O) could be the friend that dragged her to the Org, I would love that!
Otherwise, I plan to:
- make up so many stupid tabletop and video games that she plays - maybe even have her make a few in the local Twine and RPGMaker equivalents!
- have her be an adorkable nerd in the cause of making the metahumans look friendly and approachable and look at how cute I am playing my games, I'm just like you haha!
- Turn her work at the Tote-Em-Snax into Clerks but it's a Shadowrun AU, please join her for Tote-Em-Snax shenanigans!
- And have her record and livestream uncensored ~corporate malfeasance,~ and intervening in fights and doing triage, as the vigilante superheroine Yeowoo!

I would absolutely love to plot and plan for all of the above, or for some of your storylines!

If she was involved with the NSO around then or has otherwise kept up on the news, then Jessica might be aware of Dorian Hargrave, the researcher who went missing (along with his wife) just a tiny bit over a year ago. Mirys is his daughter.

Since her parents disappeared, she's been living quasi-independently in an apartment in the Middle Ward (she'd insisted on having a space to herself), with the NSO checking on her weekly and stepping in to assist her when it's thought to be necessary (they didn't want to leave her 100% on her own, she's a goddamn minor). Jessica could be one of the people they have occasionally checking on her, if you're interested in that.

Brief:
Zeke ditched a rural family for the modern world, which he enjoyed thoroughly despite spending all his time shiftlessly bumming around. Only when he bumped into a meta-human, literally, did his power first show itself. Zeke's power manifests an aspect of another meta-human's! The NSO snapped him up and he's spent some time there being studied and tested, training himself and making friends, being an organization face, and do-gooding on the side.

General Plans: Zeke's presence in the game is all about the bonds he makes with others, as evinced by his power. He wants to meet everyone, work with everyone, enjoy life, and have fun! And also be a positive influence in your lives, because y'all seem to need one.

That said, most people will probably encounter it in its android body of Lye, but otherwise the SQUIP tends to default to something like this if it has full control over its appearance.

Brief: Computer program driven to 'improve' humanity has few, if any, errorchecks on its program. The result is it escaping its containment, stealing an AI body, and deciding that it's gonna improve humanity whether or not humanity agrees with its methods. Somewhere between benign and "FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, ALT+F4 THIS THING"

General Plans: SOCIAL ENGINEERING UP THE WAZOO. That is to say, making tons of friends and then trying to manipulate the shit out of them as it tries to take over humanity one way or another.

Appearance: incredibly extra at all times Magnus definitely stands out from a crowd, given that he's roughly double the size of an average human in all dimensions. Beyond that, his skin and hair are a distinctive and inhuman shade of red, with his hair kept in a style that is long and... voluminous. Also of note is that he's missing one of his eyes; his right eye socket is grown over with smooth skin that makes it looks as though there was never an eye there at all, and his remaining eye has a strange prismatic quality to it.

Also he's a person who will spend his money commissioning custom-sized jewelry to fit his giant hands and that probably says a lot about his character! He's very vain and only dresses in ways that draw further attention to himself, as if that were remotely necessary.

Brief: Dr. Magnus Sohrab is a noteworthy academic figure, but not exactly an uncontroversial one. So far as he's concerned, that comes with the territory, seeing as his work is almost entirely focused on the sociological and anthropological implications and impacts of the existence of Meta-humans! There are many people who claim he's a Meta-human supremacist, and while he keeps his beliefs veiled (but for stubbornly using the term "post-human" instead of the more neutral Meta-human), those people aren't exactly wrong. Nonetheless, he has thrown his support behind the NSO and disdains the Yakashbah due to philosophical differences. Namely, Magnus vehemently disagrees with separatism, and believes the path to peace is to help all humans ascend to the level of post-humans :)

Though Magnus is not officially on the NSO's payroll, he has heavily involved himself in some of its activities. In particular, he focuses on educational programs, and particularly on education in the arts and humanities. Knowledge, after all, is his great passion! On a personal level, Magnus is kind, indulgent, and easily moved to sympathy — but also very, very arrogant. He keeps a lid on that last part for the most part, effecting a face that is modest and open so as to appear less threatening to others, but don't worry his brain is 1000% hubris and condescension at all times. Still, he does try to keep an open mind and loves hearing new perspectives!!!

Magnus is a telepath that can psychically manipulate the nervous system — though, surprisingly given his personality, he actually isn't very public about his exact Meta-human abilities! He has a permissions post here; I will never have him use his abilities in an invasive way without directly contacting you for permission first, so this is mostly a couple of things for my own reference.

General Plans: keep a log of how many days it takes before he brings up Plato's Allegory of the Cave to someone

ANYWAY, MORE SERIOUSLY,

• I'm very interested in younger characters Magnus can have a mentor-ish relationship with — the most genuine canon connections he has are with those he considers to be his "sons", and while he doesn't need to go full-on dad mode for everyone, he does have a lot of genuine affection for adolescents and young adults.
  
  
• Of course, I'm also looking for other adult characters! Magnus is 47, and while he has trouble connecting with other people as equals, he does need people he can have an equal conversation with.
  
  
• In general, regardless of age, Magnus can be good for characters that aren't inclined to show a lot of emotion or open up. He's good at reading people (even... without, you know, the telepathy), but also not inclined to pry into topics someone isn't ready to discuss.
  
  
• Likely a long term goal, but I would really like to have the chance to play around with the more morally dubious tendencies of the character. Particularly, with him being comfortable enough to speak openly about his supremacist beliefs, or for another character to realize that his moral chain isn't quite as tight as his (genuine!) compassion for other people might lead one to assume.

Mirys is 1) sixteen, and 2) isn't much of a people person because Reasons™ (to anyone that manages to gain her trust, she will start opening up to a bit, but anyone else? good luck), which sure sounds like she might ping Magnus if they were to meet. As for how they could meet, if he drops in on any of the Middle Ward's schools (as like idk a guest speaker? would he do that?), he'd probably spot her in one of them, mostly keeping herself out of everyone's way.

Brief: Cal is a meta with (unreliable) telekinesis, psychometry, and mild telepathy of the sixth sense 'I'm-getting-a-bad-feeling' type. As a child, Cal was taken in and trained by the semi-secret spiritualist group the Jedi Order, before one of their corporate allies turned on them and slaughtered the Jedi en masse. Cal has been in hiding from the Trade Empire corp for seven years now, living in the Last Ward and working in the scrapyards as a rigger, a job that involves climbing around boats/planes/buildings and salvaging them for valuable metal or parts. Cal has a lot of damage and doesn't easily trust people, but he's still a good kid and will readily intervene to help someone in need.

General Plans: I'm playing Cal as he was from the start of Fallen Order, which means he's not 'out' as a meta and hasn't come to terms with his bucketload of PTSD yet. I've already made plans with a couple of people, but there's plenty of other things I'd like him to get up to!

- Need someone to stage a rescue or remind you not to do bad things? Here's Cal! He's very good-aligned and has an instinct to protect other people, though he's not likely to go full 'damn the man' without proof that someone's getting hurt over it. Cal is also in a good position to meet other Last Ward residents or the mechanically-inclined.

- Crowd-sourcing the creation of BD-1 is definitely going to be a thing; I have a couple of people interested in the engineering part already but if you'd like to program a cute droid hit me up!

- Cal is going to join the NSO sooner rather than later, but I don't have any solid plans for how the recruitment part is going to play out. I do plan on getting him into situations where he's forced to use his powers around others, and since he doesn't shy away from danger that'll probably happen pretty quickly.

- While there's not a specific bounty on him, the Trade Empire does have a general bounty on any remaining Jedi. That could lead to some fun tension for anyone in the know or who might be interested in trying to catch him.

Brief: Fiery, expressive, impulsive, loud-- all a terrifying combo for your local orphan menace. Jinx is mostly known, if known at all, for her destructive events she'd reap against the high class citizens of New Gate, signed with hot pink "X"s in her wake, but unless one was actually there for it, it was all swept under the rug. Otherwise, one is likely to catch her around the Last Ward, being a general bad influence on the other orphans, and working for less than savory businesses as an engineer.

Oh, and also explosions. Lots of explosions.

General Plans: Anything and everything is on the table, but for long term situations to look for:

• Someone to make some food for this girl. And clothes. Sleepovers, too?? Has this girl ever seen a bed???? Probably not.
  
• People with an interest in chemistry/robotics/weaponry/machinery that she can pester. As she hasn't been properly educated, she's very hungry for knowledge about... all of it.
  
• Any robos or cybernetics that she can tinker with. Not completely recommended, as she's not the most careful, but hey! If you feel like jumping out of an airplane without a parachute then this is the next best thing.
  
• Anyone who might've known Jinx before the catalyst of losing her 'family' (the meta-human orphans she knew as a child). Whether to blame her for being the way she is now when they've seen her be so much better, or to help her understand her feelings of anger as more than just something destructive??? etc. etc.
  
• Someone just to put up with how high energy she is?? She wants people to talk to!!
  
• Positive forces that can reel her in when she goes too far/negative forces to encourage her crazy schemes/neutral forces that just listen to her ramble about her next totally amazing, super awesome, maybe a little illegal idea

Brief: Once a rich heiress with a defiant streak, now a cryokinetic working with the NSO to fight for the common (Meta-)people. Confrontational and opinionated, but surprisingly ride-or-die once you get to know her.

General Plans: Learn to fight and be mutant Zorro. Put a passionate but...decently-mannered face to the NSO's activities. Make ice puns that no one appreciates. Find the chill she ironically has none of.

Coyote is short, stocky, but muscular. He wears a goatee and sideburns and his hair is long on top with shaved sides. It’s is usually worn tied back in a braid or ponytail. His hair also varies in color, generally some unnatural shade. He wears dark goggles to protect his light-sensitive eyes most of the time and typically wears a mottled shemagh tied around his head and shoulders. He also has numerous facial piercings. His clothing is typically dark, shabby, and worn, with numerous pockets. A tarnished golden metal lantern shaped like a skull is always present on his belt.

Brief: Coyote is a scavenger that works (and sometimes lives) in the Underground! He is a shady little fella with a heart of gold. If you need something, he's the guy who either has it or knows who has it. He is also a member of a religious group known as the Sainthood of Ashes who took him in when he was orphaned and he still (literally) carries a torch for them. The light in the darkness, both metaphorically and literally.

General Plans: I... don't have any! Coyote is fairly well known around the city, so if your character is a native, feel free to have them know of him, especially if they grew up in The Parish or in the Underground. He will likely seek out troubled youth (or just people in general) and offer them help, if he can, too, as that's just sort of his MO.

Brief: Jack-O is a failed experiment recovered from the Douman Zaibatsu, sealed away in a destroyed facility somewhere outside of New Gate City. Because of malfunctions in her cybernetic brain, her memory is deeply fractured and unreliable, and she seems to fluctuate between a "child" like cadence and that of a more "adult" one at the drop of a hat (they are not different personalities, simply her poor functionality at work). The NSO is basically responsible for her now, trying to help this living weapon find her identity again, somehow.

General Plans: Jack-O isn't allowed to leave NSO hq without supervision, so NSO folks who are supervising her are always welcome! Beyond that, she lives on the network, and will be posting a lot on there (and there's zero guarantee it won't be mostly nonsense). Brief: Atomic Robo was built by an anonymous scientist in 2073, using a design made by Nikola Tesla in 1923 (If anyone knows canon, that means that this AU is relatively young, compared to most instances of his OU self). He is one of the oldest fully sapient artificial intelligences on the planet, and, more alarmingly, he is powered by a miniature nuclear reactor (hence the name). Robo has been on the forefront of the struggle for AIs to gain rights as people instead of just being treated as tools. Robo has appeared on TV/radio/podcasts a lot throughout his life, first as a curiosity, then later as a minor celebrity in his own right, so it's very likely that your character has heard of him.

ALSO: Robo is the owner (not legally, as AIs have no rights, but effectively.) of Tesladyne Laboratories, which is a company that is focused on funding scientists who's ideas are too crazy for other labs to want anything to do with them (and then occasionally make a patent they can pull money off of, but it's not like in a predatory way.). Tesladyne is also known, for obvious reasons, for being extremely supportive of AI rights movements. Most recently, Tesladyne has teamed up with the NSO because Metahumans and AIs are both struggling for recognition in a human world. If your character is more scientifically minded, they could absolutely work for Tesladyne.

General Plans: - Robo is not above getting his hands dirty, but he thinks he can be more useful leveraging the legal power Tesladyne has than he can be fighting bad guys with punches.
- That said Robo will absolutely punch some bad guys if he needs to. He also has several guns.
- For backstory plotting purposes, it would be really cool if I could get someone to be the legal owner of Tesladyne who is more or less Robo's partner. A human to sign the paperwork that AIs can't.
- And finally, if your character is an AI/robot then Robo has just adopted you. I'm sorry I don't make the rules that's just how it is. He will be your robot dad and give you advice/support when needed.

Pretty in a delicate, waifish way. He's a willowy guy with long flowing hair and a taste for equally flowy robes. His emotions at least seem easy to read. He's around 30, but usually gets mistaken for younger.

Brief:

Huaisang is the CEO of a fairly minor company within the Douman Zaibatsu, but most people dismiss him as a useless fluffy artsy fart who inherited the business from his much more competent older brother. He loves art, animals, alcohol, and not standing out too much.

He's hiding a big secret, though: Huaisang comes from a family of telekinetic meta-humans with a nasty genetic predisposition towards insanity. He has almost zero control over his abilities, though. He's convinced that his brother was murdered by someone within the NSO, so he's swallowing his deep fear of metas in an effort to get close to them... and maybe get revenge.

General Plans:

He lives in Central and spends time in the Middle Ward, but shady business dealings might bring him to other places. I'd like him to have his assumptions about meta-humans challenged. He's a kindhearted guy by nature so it's really hard for him to deal with all of the serious stuff he's been forced into. He's rich and well-connected, and will happily shower generosity on people he likes.

Depending on how things go, he might try to undermine the NSO from within, or he might side with the Douman Zaibatsu and go full anti-meta, or he might start to give in to his hereditary madness, or he might make nice friends and become a functional adult!

Brief: I'll start you off with a quote about Yang from another character in the game: "She's...very high-energy. Like a Great Dane. Or maybe a small bear who's been genetically engineered to do fingerguns."

Yang grew up on a collective of sealed biodome farms far away from the cities. she's seen and worked with livestock, large covered fields of staple crops, and hydroponics gardens. finds the outdoors as comfortable as being surrounded by heavy machinery. she's a gearhead on account of her upbringing maintaining those same systems, augmenting her hands-on experience with studying engineering texts and repair manuals. Yang spends a substantial bit of her earnings from doing odd jobs on tuning up her bike and her cybernetic arm. she'll tinker with other people's hardware, too, body parts, vehicles, weapons, but her programming skill is limited in scope.

she was basically kicked out of that community and passed off to NSO custody when she was 16, which is when she moved to New Gate City. depressed and resentful at first, Yang has had lots of time to come to terms with her injury, her powers, and what it means to exist as a meta-human in the current social climate. she's fortunate to have had the opportunity to live in relative safety and security upon her arrival, and now works to repay that kindness in spades. whether it's working directly for the NSO to settle in newcomers, or do all kinds of mechanical or manual labor around the offices, or heading out to the homes of those who can't afford to live decently, much less openly. if she can do it, if it'll help, she's down for it.

Yang is the Human Torch-in-training. she can manipulate extreme heat and flames of any source. the hotter it burns the harder it drains her stamina. she can cover parts of her own body and clothes in fire, throw it offensively as attacks. it takes intense focus to generate her own fire, though, so if she gets too upset or otherwise distracted the flames will just sputter out. one doesn't have to worry as much about Yang when she's outwardly angry; one has to really sweat when she's not. control over fire is far more risky than just heat, and the process is extremely draining on her body, which is why she's frequently guzzling down drinks for risk of dehydration, or just straight up passing out from the strain.

with powers that have such violent potential and an energetic personality, people often mistake Yang for a (literal) hothead. while it's true that she cannot stand discrimination in any form, and would love nothing more than to burn the Douman Zaibatsu influence out of the city, that path to peace is too bloody for her tastes. diplomacy is her preferred method of conflict avoidance. Yang will (and can) throw down if there's no other viable option. in the face of more immediate danger, Yang will not hesitate to leap into the fray to protect others. lingering consequences or personal safety be damned. it also means there's lots of pent up tension inside of her at almost all times, so she chooses to blow off literal steam (or fire) in empty lots with her powers and results of her mechanical tinkering, or figuratively so by hitting the arcades, or the clubs.

other little details: she likes to play action and fighting video games, enjoys reading or listening to audio dramas, loves dance music, junk food (a furnace needs its fuel), and "old fashioned" holiday traditions. she gives really great hugs.

General Plans: if anyone's picking up CR from where the TDM threads or workshop leads left off, let me know! also likewise if any changes need to be made because of the state characters were apped in on. I won't assume everything's set the way it was unless you say so.

other than that I'm open to a lot but here's some highlights from the workshop comment that I'm still really itching for:
-fellow gearheads and tinkerers! enthusiasts of motorcycles, machinery, prosthesis, weapons, remote control contraptions, (BATTLEBOTS ANYONE) etc
-party-goers. Yang loves to dance and have a good time. she doesn't usually drink so she's perfect to have along as the designated driver or chauffeur
-training partners for her powers, or for meditation
-gym buddies for this beefy kickboxer
-past/present crushes, dates, ex's, etc. ladies roll in and out of Yang's life often enough that she's pretty free-fire with her affection and attention. the world's a harsh place. she's almost died at *least* once before. life's too short to (not) give a fuck. she's definitely not just doing this to cope with and/or perpetuate her latent abandonment/rejection issues ha ha h a h...

Brief: Let me explain. No, there is too much; let me sum up. Leviathan "Levi" Astrape, f.k.a. Hope Carassia, is an electrokinetic theymer (that's they/them gamer) with heart, anxiety, and memory problems. The heart stuff is because their mutation generates electricity right from the source, inside their heart, and they were forced by their famously high-class parents to keep it hidden as much as possible for three years. Before their mutation manifested, they were heiress to the Carassia Energy fortune and lived in the Central Ward, but people don't really know that about them.

Most of the people around here will know them as someone who tries to help and has been trying to help for most of their life down here with NSO. They spent some time living in the Last Ward and a lot of their goodwill, especially because they can generate power from their body, goes towards helping those people out during blackouts or whatever else might happen. In their downtime, they hang out either in net cafes playing shooters and MOBAs (look for gamertag Levirage), goofing around at karaoke bars, or chilling in their dorm. Roomies be warned that they do have to discharge the electricity regularly so it doesn't damage them, so there's probably gonna be an ozone-y smell coming from their room every morning as they ground themself and let fly. They're working on it.

General Plans: In the short term, Levi is just trying to get by. Use their mutation for good, bring good into the world, leave it in a better place than they left it. In the long term, they really, really want to find a way to spread meta-human acceptance into the Central Ward and advance meta-human rights as safely and legally as possible.

Six-foot auburn/emerald haired woman with legs and lean muscle for days, a sweet country voice, and freckles that she insists on hiding under a hat so they don't crop up as quick. She doesn't look nearly as strong as she is.

Brief: Kind, loving, shy, athletic amnesiac meta-human with metal manipulation powers and a very strong southern accent. "Nephenee", as she most know her as, has been in the city for several years after being kidnapped as a kid and basically trained to be a child soldier with all the trauma and cybernetics that might entail. She doesn't remember much before 13, and so has no real memory of her family, so she's taken to adopting people and searching for her real family too. She's VERY much the big sister type, even if someone's older than her.

She's also pretty shy and awkward when it comes to social stuff, and has the overall self-esteem of a cricket. A very large leggy cricket. But she tries, and does a bunch of different jobs to keep afloat (one big one is smithing, another being a guard-for-hire) for legitimate work, and works with the NSO as well. She also does some vigilante stuff, sometimes with people she's known for a bit.

Misc stuff: Legs for days, nerd when it comes to polearms, metals, and plants, loves her some chocolate and training, gives great hugs. Let her love you. Lawful Good as hell (not Lawful Stupid). Plays some video games.

General Plans: While I don't have a lot of hard plans, I do want her to:
- Make friends and family and learn to really trust someone, and hopefully come out of her shell a little.

- No seriously she's a big sister type and will adopt people she's close to. Even if she's not a sister type to a friend, she'll care for them and fret at them if they're sad or sick or hurt, and be as loving an influence as she can. And try to keep them from being dumb. So if you need someone to keep your character from wearing themselves out or keep them out of trouble/keep an eye on them, she's your girl!

- Get some training/exercise buddies! She does a lot of it due to her background and just needing to move around. She also loves going on runs.

- If your character needs a cook, she can help there too!

- Oh, and she needs people to be positive influences and help her see the good in things and in herself. Her self-esteem isn't great :( And maybe keep her from working herself to death or bottling things up...

From Oz, which in NS is a rapidly industrializing Meditteranean country under the rule of a corp-appeasing technocrat. Son of a famous revolutionary/meta rights crusader (Elphaba, AKA The Witch Of The West). After her accidental death at the hands of Dorothy, circumstances led him into the army, where he was aid to a general. He didn't like the things he had to do, so he and his boyfriend blew up the army's fleet of cyborg alligators. He's in NGC as a refugee, which the NSO helped him with.

In personality he's kindof a Gloomy Gus and his low esteem for most people is only exceeded by his low esteem for himself. Nevertheless he wants to do what's right. When you get close to him he's actually kinda clingy, but expect to have to wade through a swamp of grump and sulk to get there.

His power is that he can know the past of objects, especially organic ones, by touching them (this appears to him as a vision of an event). He can also revert objects and people he's touching to a state they were in in the recent past (both will fly back to where they were previously; the reversion will wear off a few minutes after he breaks contact).

General Plans:

-He's definitely gonna become involved in the conflict over meta rights, whether he wants to or not. He's reluctant to join because he thinks people will focus on his famous name and he doesn't feel he'll live up to it.

-Definitely want people to find out who his mom was (it's a really poorly kept secret) and be like "You're the son of her???"

-Fellow meta revolutionaries! Or people who would rather work for The System who he can have conflicts with!

-Also please make him have some fun, he really needs it

-He has very little control over the first aspect of his power, so if he touches you by accident (or like a hair of yours lands on him) there's a good chance he'll see part of your past. Make it as embarrassing and/or traumatic a memory as you want!

Brief: A twenty-seven year-old mercenary, who is now working with the NSO. She primarily does security, helping out around the place in general, and sometimes vigilantism. Lora is a meta-human, who can manifest weapons made of fire. She is nice, kind of a den mother, and wants to look after ~everyone~. Especially the younger types.

General Plans: Not a ton! Lora's here to help, get swept up in events, and try to support people and make friends. I'd like to get her friends and people to look after, both younger and otherwise. Over time, I want to poke at some of her issues of abandonment, trying to find family, and the rest.

ALSO: she loves to make things. Charms, as per canon -- but the girl's a crafty type, and she's always trying to learn more. This includes gifts for people! But, she also wants to learn to make new stuff. Works with her gift as a meta, too.

Way down the line, I might try to do some version of the asshole quasi-stepfather from her canon coming after her, but that's a way down the line thing.

Appearance: John is a fairly generic looking young man with short messy black hair and blue eyes. With his signature buck-toothed overbite and square-framed glasses, he has just enough signature traits to his physical appearance to make him unmistakable.

Brief: A young man who grew up safely in the Middle Ward of New Gate City with his father, mostly unaffected by the hard politics and extreme movements currently taking over most of the cities news. Little does he know-how involved in it all he secretly is. With a grandmother who was once a higher member of the Douman Zaibatsu turned Yakashbah before her death, and a father who works as a business manager for corporate events within the city, it's inevitable that he will end up dragged into all of it eventually.

General Plans: John has a deep secret backstory that I plan to grow and develop him into throughout the overarching plot of the game! I wish to start the first few months as if John were nothing more than a normal kid growing up within New Gate City. And then around the time of his birthday which will come up in April, I plan on having his meta-human abilities to start appearing. As they do I plan on slowly disclosing how much involvement within the government's past he actually holds.

Long story short I want to take the general concept of Homestuck and see how much of his own story from canon I can incorporate into this world. And yes, that includes the whole thing about being a test-tube microplasma clone-baby.
