Welcome to the AU Workshop! We understand adapting a character for an AU game can be a difficult process, even if you have all the creativity in the world, so we've put this together to help! Just fill out the form and post it in a comment below, and sort of brain out which ideas stick!

Keep in mind this is not a reserve. Reserves will open on the 3rd, as always, and you don't need to use this if you're already sure of your ideas! This is just a fun creative exercise that we hope you enjoy and find helpful!

hope someone figures out his double life based purely on which NSO representatives he inexplicably dislikes on any given day

ANYWAY, I am too lazy to make a separate comment for this, but I think there might be a workable angle with Tracer and Rin also? I'm not 100% sure, since Rin does admittedly keep to more underground contacts than the NSO most of the time, but she is a cynic wrt heroism and, while not precisely military herself, has spent a lot of time with former military people and paramilitary groups.

I'm really only familiar with vanilla Rin, which...it does not look like this is?

It doesn't really sound like they'd get along TOO well from this. But she isn't really a fan of bullies like DZ, so they'll have that in common. And like her canon self, this Lena will have no problem with making strange allies if the situation calls for it.

Extra!Rin is an entirely different character raise in an entirely different setting and circumstances, yes.

Not getting along too well honestly works, Rin needs people to push and pull with. She has a lot to unpack and she won't get there without other perspectives.
