Welcome to the AU Workshop! We understand adapting a character for an AU game can be a difficult process, even if you have all the creativity in the world, so we've put this together to help! Just fill out the form and post it in a comment below, and sort of brain out which ideas stick!

Keep in mind this is not a reserve. Reserves will open on the 3rd, as always, and you don't need to use this if you're already sure of your ideas! This is just a fun creative exercise that we hope you enjoy and find helpful!

Yang's a tinkerer with a penchant for vehicles and weapons and cybernetics (to a point, at least) and one who's got her share of wild ideas for her creations but even she would think Jinx's are out there... so clearly they ought to get up to Shenanigans somehow. maybe meeting/bickering over claiming loot at a scrapyard one day some time ago and get together every once in a while to blow off steam.

...figuratively or literally, given Yang's power is creating and manipulating heat and flame.

So you’re saying they have a scrap in the scrapyard? How incredibly fitting.

But yes, absolutely!! I’d love for her to have someone who she can bounce ideas off of and vice versa. It’d be a nice way to for her to learn more stuff, since there’s only so much one can pull from Frankenstein-ing bits together. Only if Jinx can nickname her hotshot tho. It’s a must.

Yang definitely has a good mix of practical experience and technical study to help out, and sometimes it's nice to hang out with someone who doesn't think a giant flaming rocket fist is "impractical" or "a waste of potential" or "dangerous"

Yang's whole power set fizzles when she gets way too angry and sometimes a girl just wants to make things go boom when they can't hurt anyone y'know

Hell yeah!! Don’t worry, though, she’s sure to let Yang in on the most important thing to remember: all those words are just synonymous with “fun”.

They’ll be terrible and great influences on each other......

I feel like after a while Yang's going to be far more concerned with the Collateral Damage aspect depending on what she finds out about Jinx's whole operation but I'm also here for her attempting to be a grounding influence somehow.

she isn't quite the "angel on your shoulder" but even if she's a firecracker she can stand back and go "oh maybe we shouldn't do that after all" every once in a while.

That’s for the best. She would need someone to reel her in since she has no concept of consequence, and having someone who’s not all holier-than-thou about it is more likely to get an actual response.

That said, it’s not as if she goes out of her way for it. But you know how the saying goes. You win some, and you lose a building that just happens to have dynamite around.

if you wanted to play some stuff out a bit I've got her up on the TDM here btw. not sure if a lot of the prompts would work with Jinx specifically, but 5 is pretty open, or you could wildcard me and/or do a text thing!
