Welcome to the AU Workshop! We understand adapting a character for an AU game can be a difficult process, even if you have all the creativity in the world, so we've put this together to help! Just fill out the form and post it in a comment below, and sort of brain out which ideas stick!

Keep in mind this is not a reserve. Reserves will open on the 3rd, as always, and you don't need to use this if you're already sure of your ideas! This is just a fun creative exercise that we hope you enjoy and find helpful!

Yang, Actual Farm Girl, Bearer of Sunlight Heat and Flame would heart eyes emoji all over Persephone's plant powers just as a thing. this city is way more City than she's ever been used to and even after 8 years it gets to be a bit much. it needs more colors that aren't all drab greys or bright neons y'know?

she would make a great tour guide, but awful roommate. neighbor, perhaps? the one always tinkering noisily in her garage/workshop at odd hours on her motorcycle or assorted mechanical doohickeys. persistently smelling of smoke, gunpowder, or oil. mostly on purpose.

A neighbor is perfectly lovely and a tour guide would be what she honestly needs. Her life has been heavily restricted from those nasty outside influences. Like people who don't answer to her mother. If she found out Yang misses plant life and a little green, she would be more than willing to spruce up her apartment. Once she figured out Yang is not going to turn her in or something.

that would probably become obvious pretty quickly! Yang doesn't talk a heck of a whole lot about her background, but when plants are involved she'd inevitably talk about how much she missed the farming community she grew up in, and the whole being kicked out by the community at large even though her mother didn't mind having her around after her own powers manifested. :B

Poor Yang. Perse would listen so intently and then give her a big old plant, probably the biggest one she has. Here. Take it.

Or at least the biggest potted one because she has a tendency to forget they need pots at some point. She'll never her deposit back

Perse is such a sweetheart AND will earn herself a friend for life. and free tune-ups for... whatever she may need that for. kitchen utilities, washing machine, etc.
