JANUARY AU WORKSHOP

JANUARY AU WORKSHOP

Welcome to the AU Workshop! We understand adapting a character for an AU game can be a difficult process, even if you have all the creativity in the world, so we've put this together to help! Just fill out the form and post it in a comment below, and sort of brain out which ideas stick!

Keep in mind this is not a reserve. Reserves will open on the 3rd, as always, and you don't need to use this if you're already sure of your ideas! This is just a fun creative exercise that we hope you enjoy and find helpful!

Be sure to check out our Premise, FAQ, Locations, and NPC posts for worldbuilding info to help you get started!

Here's the form!

ahaaha yeah RWBY has its flaws in that department for sure, but it's certainly Anime As Fuck so I love it all the same. it's nice to be able to trim down some of the b.s. (and replace it with setting-appropriate b.s.) in AUs. focus on the important character development the show couldn't give me, and so on.

but yeah! that's good stuff to know. I saw the TDM comment but I'm dead tired so I'll give it a better read tomorrow for a reply (unless you see and find anything better on Yang's prompts, I'm good either way) :B

That's definitely one good reason to love AUs! Being able to play out similar-but-different character development and new dynamics is the fun stuff.

And that's no problem!
